Mi nombre es Jose Morales y llevo más de tres décadas mirando el mundo a través del visor de una cámara. Empecé en los años ochenta con una Werlissa heredada de mi padre, fotografiando paisajes, aves y rincones escondidos de la naturaleza. Aquella pasión por la luz y la composición me llevó a especializarme en fotografía de fauna y entorno natural, con publicaciones en revistas como Natura, Integral y diversas guías de aves.

Con el tiempo, esa mirada paciente evolucionó hacia otros escenarios: los conciertos. Desde hace más de diez años documento la energía irrepetible de la música en directo, especialmente en el mundo del folk y la música celta, géneros con los que mantengo una conexión muy personal. En 1985 fotografié por primera vez a Gwendal, y desde 2014 tengo el honor de ser su fotógrafo oficial en España, acompañándoles en festivales y giras.

Hoy combino mi trabajo como fotógrafo de naturaleza, viajes y conciertos, buscando siempre capturar la emoción, la luz y la historia que hay detrás de cada imagen. Esta web es mi ventana al mundo: un lugar donde comparto mi visión y mi experiencia, imagen a imagen.

My name is Jose Morales, and for over three decades I’ve been seeing the world through a camera’s viewfinder. I began in the 1980s with a Werlissa inherited from my father, capturing landscapes, birds, and hidden corners of nature. That early passion for light and composition led me to specialize in wildlife and nature photography, with work published in magazines such as Natura, Integral, and various birdwatching guides.

Over time, that patient gaze evolved into a new stage: live music photography. For more than ten years now, I’ve been documenting the unrepeatable energy of live performance—especially within the realms of folk and Celtic music, genres with which I feel a deep personal connection. I first photographed Gwendal in 1985, and since 2014, I’ve had the honor of being their official photographer in Spain, following them through tours and festivals.

Today, I combine my work across nature, travel, and concert photography—always aiming to capture the emotion, light, and story behind each image. This website is my window to the world: a place to share my vision and experience, frame by frame.
